If there’s one sartorial choice I am unswervingly faithful to, it’s suede western-style ankle boots. A little bit of heel, but not an uncomfortably tottering height, still enclosed and warm enough to be a winter boot, but equally suitable for summer with tea-dresses and bare legs.
So, I thought i’d see what all the fuss was about with these ones… And now I know. The Isabel Marant Dicker boots are the Platonic ideal of the Ankle Boot. Perfect colour? Check. Perfect heel? Check. Wearable morning, noon and night. Slender, feminine, impossibly chic. I’d like a pair in every colour. Khaki, anthracite, black, cacao.
If you’ve been looking, and don’t want to join a waiting list, you can buy the camel now from the Notting Hill store, or online at Matches. Oh, and look at the box.

Love these! A worthy investment! Jen xoxo http://mystylisticlife.com
